Next steps for new Christians!

You now have a Heavenly Father! He wants you to share with Him all of your plans, ideas,thoughts, pains, concerns and needs! Talk (pray) to Him at any time day or night about anything...(end all your prayers with ...."In Jesus name. AMEN.") He is listening!

Many new Christians have found reading the Book of John is a good start. The Bible was written by men that were led and inspired by the Holy Spirit. Pray before you start reading and remember to ask the Holy Spirit to guide your thoughts as you read!     www.btstories.com/beginnings/    

Finding the right 'Church Home' is a very important decision. You can make Christian friends there. Tell them that you were recently saved! They are now your spiritual brothers and sisters! Make sure the church believes that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that by trusting in Jesus !00% is the only way to Heaven.

Now that you are a new Christian you should learn more about the life of Jesus and biblical principles  to help you grow spiritually.  Join a Discipleship class at church. Ask about Baptism and what it means. They will be excited to see you! 

Christian music is great for praise and worship. Listen to the words and anticipate that he Holy Spirit will inspire you to draw closer to Jesus! Wonderful songs like Amazing Grace and Just As I Am are called traditional hymns. Mercy Me, Casting Crowns are very popular. Sing and praise  God!
