My name is Leon Taranto. I was born in New Orleans in 1964. I grew up in New Orleans, Lafayette and Baton Rouge. In 1982 I graduated from Central Baptist Christian School in Baton Rouge.
Military veteran served as an Army Military Police Investigator (MPI).
Later became a Safety Professional working over 100 petrochemical projects all across America including Alaska and Saudi Arabia.
Recently, I felt led to follow the calling to begin a full time ministry. My gift/calling is to equip the church (Body of Christ) with practical teachings in the much needed area of personal evangelism also known as soulwinning.
Throughout the years I have taken several college type Bible courses. I have obtained several certifications from The Billy Graham School of Evangelism and credentials from The National Association of Christian Ministers (NACM).
- Using my personal experiences from working in the petrochemical field I felt led to make an evangelistic outreach movie. I wrote the script and the song. It was produced by Brainy Pixel. The Plan of Salvation is the core of the movie.

THE LUNCH TENT.com movie was nominated at The International Christian Film Festival, Texas Faith and Film Festival, several others and actually won for Best Evangelism Outreach Movie at the Capernaum Studios Content 2022 Film Festival where The Chosen Series was filmed!
